Leo Colon

A guitarist, pianist, bass player, composer, arranger, instructor and administrator, Leo holds a B.A. in music (summa cum laude) from the University of Massachusetts. He is a Berklee College alumnus and an instructor and performer in New England since 1995. Leo has shared the stage with some of the finest musicians in the area, including Patrice Williamson, Rusty Scott, Nick Grondin, Dan Fox, Fernando Huergo, and jazz-fusion superstars T-Lavitz and Steve Hunt. He has opened concerts for Sting, Kool and the Gang, and Eddie Vedder as musical director for ZUMIX’s DiverCity Band and also co-produced their self-titled debut album. Leo holds a professional teacher license in the state of Massachusetts and is currently a teaching artist for ODA, CCISJ and Brooke High School. He speaks three languages: English, Spanish and Portuguese.
