Join ZUMIX, CCDS East Boston, Hoopla Productions and NUBE for an Eastie screening of Open Your Heart! Our homegrown doc follows the story of ZUMIX youth as they learn about the paths of important leaders in our community. Luz carries the wisdom of an early mentor in her family’s cooperative in Colombia as motivation for her work supporting sewing, childcare and cooking cooperatives today. Eny reflects on the friendships built between neighbors when getting politically involved.
